Who, Why, where ...
Hi, my name is Jeffrey Rodriguez, I am 19 and I am a web & Graphic designer. I mostly base my work on nightlife festivities, logo and identity design. I started designing as a freshman in high school; it was from an elective course called "Commercial Design". It was in Cambridge Rindge and Latin School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Oh and by the way, as a youngster I started drawing but never thought I was good enough or by say I was never good, and even now I am not good at it. Most of my design skills and knowledge are self-taught. Now, I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in Graphic Design with emphasis in web development. When someone asks me for my major, I actually say the entire title. I've learned a range of skills and software including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and InDesign. Although I hate InDesign, I'm eager to learn more about Flash and Final Cut Pro.
I am very proud to have worked for some organizations during my college career. On the summer of 2011 I worked on designing the booklet for the 25th annual ALANA Conference along with the Office of Publications in SUNY Oswego. It was a great learning experience from learning to go through a professional design process to opening many doors around campus. My current project is the Student Association official website. We're doing well at the moment, but the site will take a few to be published. Lets pray to God that everything turns out great for us, and for the eyes of the viewers.

About Jeffrey 'Come Moro'
A little more about myself (in case you read the homepage), I am from the Dominican Republic; from Santo Domingo to be exact. My biggest inspiration is my mother, Maria Rodriguez and my little sister Yumary. They are the two individuals I love the most. A lot of my inspirations lie from Abduzeedo.com, a very useful site that lets you interact with artist around the world. I am also very patriotic; love my culture and the background in which I came from. I'm big on food, especially when it's Dominican. My favorite dish is "Sancocho". It is composed of.. Well, if I tell you everything it contains it will be a long scroll. My second dish of choice is "moro de habichuela negra" with carne de res and platano maduro frito. My biggest fear is fire. One of my to-do lists before I graduate college is record a song. My ultimate goal before college is to design my own New Era Lion fitted.

Design
I use the 13 inch MacBook Pro, hopefully soon I get bigger screen. I work with softwares like Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Corel Painter and many more. I also use the Magic Mouse from Apple for a smooth designing.

Man I love this tablet. This is basically what I use when I'm designing brushes that I can't find online, signatures, shading, portrait retouches and all the fun stuff. I use it to add final touches. It actually does feel like you're writing on a piece of paper.

Canon Rebel
Photography
This is a Canon Rebel camera. It can perform all kinds of photography. I mostly use if for my personal use. I take it with me in formal events or on campus events. I don't know much about its feature due to the fact that I recently acquired it. Although I have not taken any photography classes yet, I'm anxious to take one in the near future.
